Moons & Moons is one of the albums I make for bedtime. It is meant to help create a sleepytime space. It should not be viewed as what people call sleep music – it is still Space Music.

Working with Travis on our think+sync album and his desire for even more EDMy material influenced what I was doing. It kinda takes me full circle to my very first Column 3-57 album where I was trying to bridge what I felt in my soul with the Techno of the times. I will say that I have better skills in achieving that target now – as one might hope after 30 years. I even did a bit of a remix as the ‘single’.
There isn’t a track-by-track explanation this time as the pieces just are. I have included three versions of “Dancer’s Moon” in the purchased download simply because I ended up with three mix versions. That may interest some; maybe as a comparison, or in case they prefer one of the other versions in the album itself.
Hello Benedict, thank you for this wonderful album that delights my ears. You’re a wonderful artist who paints living pictures with sound. Take good care of yourself. Best wishes from the other side of the planet. Thierry

Everything was made in Reason 13, from sounds to composition, mixing & mastering, using mostly stock devices. Being version 13, Polytone was used a bit. If you can pick it, good onya. Cover Art and slides were made in Inkscape and videos were made in Da Vinci Resolve. No AI was involved in any of this work.
