1999 – album as Column 3-57
I have always been rather pleased with this album as it was a threshold reached in getting closer to realizing my art the way I wanted it. The concept takes me back to the boyish interest in early aeroplanes, especially bi-planes. I used many of the things that fascinated me then as images to compose to.
Memory Of Flight has always been one of my favorite pieces of this time as it seems to hang so nicely, always threatening to get complex but always leveling out.
